Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Wiliam Peren started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Netherlands booed when San Roque FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Zelený didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Erik Hökqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 19 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of San Roque FC's Igor Parzysz. Igor Parzysz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. San Roque FC's Igor Parzysz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 28th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Igor Parzysz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Igor Parzysz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 31st minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Parzysz having to interfere. Wiliam Peren came free with the goalkeeper in the 35th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnout Reekers could save by the left post. San Roque FC were awarded a corner in the 37th minute after Netherlands's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Hegoi Usabiaga took the corner. In the 37th match minute, San Roque FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheb Diafat to maneuver through the defense. San Roque FC's Igor Parzysz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Parzysz having to interfere. In the 47th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Parzysz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after San Roque FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Lars Meesters drilling the ball in to score 1-3 behind San Roque FC's goalkeeper. After the first half Netherlands were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. In the 54th minute of the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Igor Parzysz was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Igor Parzysz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Wim Wilmes hit a great ball. 71 minutes into the match, San Roque FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Igor Parzysz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Igor Parzysz in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Igor Parzysz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lars Meesters in the 82nd minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Igor Parzysz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. David Eikelkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Igor Parzysz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes had been played when some careless play by San Roque FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Igor Parzysz made a huge save. In the 90th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. San Roque FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Igor Parzysz quite easily take care of the ball. Igor Parzysz made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. Igor Parzysz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 98th minute.
