Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Ubaldo Peruxu sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Chris Mergenthaler during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of MAC4LAN RB booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chris Mergenthaler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Liviu Apăvăloaie. The supporters of MAC4LAN RB booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Sachs didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubaldo Peruxu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 16th playminute. In the 21st minute, MAC4LAN RB's Daniël Overmars ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 29 minutes into the match, Ubaldo Peruxu notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Germany's Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MAC4LAN RB's goalie prevented a goal. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAC4LAN RB's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Frank Sachs was slow to take the kick. During this time Germany's players had a chance to rest. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Liviu Apăvăloaie got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 5-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

In the 53rd minute Daniël Overmars shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. In the 59th minute Liviu Apăvăloaie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61stth minute of the game Ubaldo Peruxu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Germany's Tommy Kahn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. But to his dismay, Hernan Crescencio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Peruxu in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. MAC4LAN RB's Jef Batenburg was substituted for Hernan Crescencio. Jef Batenburg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Ubaldo Peruxu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tommy Kahn was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Peruxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Peruxu in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ubaldo Peruxu in the 89th minute of the match. Liviu Apăvăloaie blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save.
