Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) C. A. Atlanta's Teodoro Primo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 7th minute of play forced C. A. Atlanta's goalkeeper Tony Guimarães to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 8 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's Sixto Manilan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Kahn narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eliseo Sasoin was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 11th minute. C. A. Atlanta's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Tony Guimarães made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Sachs in the 18th minute of play. After 21 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Hipolito Frasquito. C. A. Atlanta's Tony Guimarães played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 22nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, C. A. Atlanta's Teodoro Primo got a free kick in the 29th minute. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Frank Sachs took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tony Guimarães. Tony Guimarães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Tony Guimarães took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tony Guimarães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albin Holweck, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 46th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Sixto Manilan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 47th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

57 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tony Guimarães, 1-2. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Tony Guimarães made a huge save. In the 67th minute Teodoro Primo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the game, Hipolito Frasquito was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Germany the free kick. Hipolito Frasquito hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Frank Sachs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tony Guimarães was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. Tony Guimarães came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Germany's Frank Sachs. But to his dismay, Frank Sachs quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Chris Mergenthaler hit a great ball. In the 81st minute, Teodoro Primo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 87th minute, Teodoro Primo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Atlanta fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Teodoro Primo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Teodoro Primo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Albin Holweck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tony Guimarães having to interfere. 96 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Tony Guimarães reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Germany eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
