The supporters of Sabalero booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute of the game Sven Krakouer made a throw-in which Frank Sachs played forward. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Luisito Marino charged in rather forcefully in the 7th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luisito Marino the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 7th match minute, Sabalero was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luisito Marino to maneuver through the defense. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Sabalero's attentive Celso Cibran managed to snatch the ball when Chris Mergenthaler made a throw-in in the 11th minute of the game. Frank Sachs scored 1-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emilio Bibiano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emilio Bibiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Holweck in the 22nd minute of play. Sabalero's Celso Cibran quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Chris Mergenthaler, made in the 27th minute of the game. After 29 minutes, Daniel Perrando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sabalero and the Germany players grew even worse after the yellow card. Frank Sachs's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Bibiano read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. Emilio Bibiano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Frank Sachs in the 52nd minute. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Emilio Bibiano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, Sabalero's Luisito Marino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tommy Kahn made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Ulises Oriol got a throw-in 66 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Roman Jacob. A collision led to Sabalero getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Daniel Perrando hit a great ball. With his leg Emilio Bibiano managed to avoid a goal in the 72ndth minute, when Germany's Frank Sachs fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 73 played minutes Sabalero got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Perrando. 75 minutes into the game, Albin Holweck recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Emilio Bibiano. Albin Holweck showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. After 81 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. After 84 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Sven Krakouer. In the 85th minute of the match Honorio Stephen sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tommy Kahn skillfully saved the ball. Emilio Bibiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frank Sachs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Frank Sachs came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Germany fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Sachs couldn't finish the play. Germany's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Sabalero had won, even though Germany had held more of the ball.
