Ciro Ferdinand was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 8 minutes into the match. 7 minutes into the game, one of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 10th minute of the match Pando CNdeF got a corner. Club Atlético Atlanta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Artemio Sala ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Club Atlético Atlanta booed when Pando CNdeF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachary Siekierka didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pando CNdeF's Inaki Graniela played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Oskitz in the 13th minute of play. Inaki Graniela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Santos Oskitz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
