Trenel AFC's Arnoldo Sandalio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 3rd minute of play. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnoldo Sandalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 8th minute of play. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute of play forced Trenel AFC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Sandalio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 17 minutes into the match, Trenel AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Arnoldo Sandalio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 18 minutes Trenel AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Arnout Reekers made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Manfred Kjellqvist sent off a good shot on target. The corner ended in Celedonio Frascuelo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers did a great save. Arnoldo Sandalio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 23rd minute of the match. In the 24th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnoldo Sandalio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manfred Kjellqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 31 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by David Eikelkamp. In the 34th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alastair Moody got free with Arnout Reekers in the 36th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Wim Wilmes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnoldo Sandalio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Gustaaf Groeneveldt took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnoldo Sandalio. Arnoldo Sandalio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Trenel AFC's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Sandalio came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A hard shot 47 in the game by Alastair Moody from a close distance when the talented Arnout Reekers managed to make a qualified save. Netherlands's players were relieved. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alastair Moody stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Arnoldo Sandalio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 58th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnoldo Sandalio. That made the score 0-2 after 61 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manfred Kjellqvist in the 64th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfred Kjellqvist in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Trenel AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Arnoldo Sandalio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 72nd minute. Lars Meesters was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Arnout Reekers didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Trenel AFC's Manfred Kjellqvist shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-3 in the ordered_time% minute. With an all-out effort, Netherlands's Arnoldo Sandalio threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After a defensive mix-up in Trenel AFC's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Sandalio came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Netherlands's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
