The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Filipe Maciel might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ilija Skugor. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filipe Maciel ran back to his position shaking his head. Leopoldo Duarte kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Croatia's Ilija Skugor proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Croatia from getting a goal against them. Dinko Stankovic received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Hudson Ceresso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silvije Santek kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. When Neven Culina came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Neven Culina couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute, Tales Vargas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dinko Stankovic fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hudson Ceresso having to interfere. 39 minutes into the match, PACHACÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Mauzer came free, but Hudson Ceresso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Croatia getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Martin Bosak hit a great ball. Croatia's Ilija Skugor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmundo Tepedino in the 47th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Toni Mauzer made a kick off. Hudson Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Toni Mauzer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Patrik Terzic lost his temper 64 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 63rd minute, one of Croatia:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Croatia. When Dinko Stankovic came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Croatia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinko Stankovic couldn't finish the play. Humberto Prata took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ilija Skugor. Croatia's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, PACHACÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE's goalkeeper Hudson Ceresso had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dinko Stankovic. In the 94th minute, Silvije Santek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Croatia defense, Leopoldo Duarte kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ilija Skugor. The Croatia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ilija Skugor should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 98th minute, Edvaldo Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. PACHACÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ilija Skugor breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. PACHACÃO FUTEBOL CLUBE were victorious despite being under pressure from Croatia for much of the match.
