In the 2nd minute, Teodosio Elazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 5 minutes into the game, Dinamo Tirana's Teodosio Elazar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mitxel Abar's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. When Mitxel Abar came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Dinamo Tirana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mitxel Abar couldn't finish the play. Frank Peletier struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Ceandro Abadie didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. In the 14th minute, Mitxel Abar reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Maxime Durand. The goal made the score 2-0. Mitxel Abar hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. 22 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Goiano lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Maxime Durand. Maxime Durand made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teodosio Elazar in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Mitxel Abar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Maxime Durand was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 33rd match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Chapuis to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Peletier in the 35th minute of play forced Dinamo Tirana's goalkeeper Ceandro Abadie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ceandro Abadie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Barbier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Peletier was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Dinamo Tirana booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frank Peletier didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Luiz Paulo Goiano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxime Durand was relentless in the 61st minute of the game. In the 64th minute Frank Peletier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ceandro Abadie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luiz Paulo Goiano in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxime Durand prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but Ceandro Abadie made a huge save. Frank Peletier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 69thth minute tested the skills of Ceandro Abadie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ceandro Abadie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camille Baume in the 72nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Ceandro Abadie in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Paulo Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute, Luiz Paulo Goiano ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxime Durand was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-2. Dinamo Tirana's Koldobika Abeitia was substituted for Luiz Paulo Goiano. When Dinamo Tirana's Mitxel Abar in the 86th minute got a chance for a shot 86th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye France's goalie prevented a goal. Ceandro Abadie made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Frank Peletier sent off a good shot on target. France's Maxime Durand played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Koldobika Abeitia in the 97th minute of play. 98 minutes into the game, Iker Dominguez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dinamo Tirana's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave France the free kick. The supporters of France booed when Dinamo Tirana was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iker Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Dinamo Tirana support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
