Vasile Curagãu made a great header on Criciúma Esporte Clube's corner, it was just that Defensores de Belén's Dante Erramu managed to reach the ball for a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulo Laurentzi to strike the kick off in the second half. Vasile Curagãu kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 84thth minute of the game Tao Ke Qiang who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Criciúma Esporte Clube's Evelio Antoniano was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Tao Ke Qiang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 86th match minute, Defensores de Belén was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cornelio Abastas to maneuver through the defense. Paulo Laurentzi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zbigniew Wyciszkiewicz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Criciúma Esporte Clube players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Defensores de Belén from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
