Criciúma Esporte Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulo Laurentzi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 9 played minutes Criciúma Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Emin Kamer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilmer Davison in the 12th minute of play forced Criciúma Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Evelio Antoniano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 15 minutes into the game, 俞亮岩 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Evelio Antoniano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Evelio Antoniano came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by HISPANO FC's Pastor Cambranes. But to his dismay, Pastor Cambranes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by 俞亮岩 in the 25th minute of play forced Criciúma Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Evelio Antoniano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Criciúma Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Wilmer Davison came free, but Evelio Antoniano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Landon Gordon scored 0-3 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Evelio Antoniano, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of HISPANO FC booed when Criciúma Esporte Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tauro Camero didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wilmer Davison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, HISPANO FC's Orestis Karnezis got control of the ball when Bieito Villaurreta tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bieito Villaurreta struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Orestis Karnezis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Criciúma Esporte Clube. Orestis Karnezis came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Criciúma Esporte Clube's Paulo Laurentzi. But to his dismay, Paulo Laurentzi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Bieito Villaurreta in the 52nd minute of play forced HISPANO FC's goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Landon Gordon got free with Evelio Antoniano in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Bieito Villaurreta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Paulo Laurentzi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Orestis Karnezis was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Orestis Karnezis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Laurentzi in the 66th minute of the match. Criciúma Esporte Clube's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mehmet Emin Kamer in the 73rd minute. Orestis Karnezis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paulo Laurentzi in the 78th minute of the match. Criciúma Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after HISPANO FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mehmet Emin Kamer took the corner. Criciúma Esporte Clube's Mehmet Emin Kamer was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Orestis Karnezis in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 80th minute, Tauro Camero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Orestis Karnezis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Laurentzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When the match clock showed 94 minutes, the score became 3-4 when Paulo Laurentzi sped through HISPANO FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Orestis Karnezis. Evelio Antoniano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 俞亮岩, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
