A throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game was made by Haroldo Massa with Wágner Arruda as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Destroyers F.C.'s goalkeeper Nono Contreras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 35 minutes into the match, FIFA2024's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Cordeiro came free, but Juras Dudek reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Destroyers F.C.'s Wágner Arruda to fire away a dangerous shot which Juras Dudek despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Haroldo Massa made in the 39th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Wágner Arruda however managed to control. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wilson Rosa in the 43rd minute of play forced FIFA2024's goalkeeper Juras Dudek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Kyle Mbappè had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nono Contreras. Destroyers F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kyle Mbappè was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wilson Rosa made a kick off. Basílio Sousa's late challenge caught a FIFA2024's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Basílio Sousa helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Destroyers F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Sousa. Caco Secco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Juras Dudek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Juras Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caco Secco in the 58th minute of the match. Carlos Caton hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Kyle Mbappè kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nono Contreras. That made the score 0-4 in the 67 minute of play. Kyle Mbappè blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nono Contreras having to make a save. Kyle Mbappè succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 72nd playminute. The supporters of FIFA2024 booed when Destroyers F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Basílio Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. FIFA2024's Angelo Hibai was substituted for Kyle Mbappè. Nono Contreras stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clark Kent's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Wilson Rosa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FIFA2024's Juras Dudek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. FIFA2024's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mugur Lițu in the 88th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Carlos Caton heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. Clark Kent was extremely unlucky when he, in the 91st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A sloppy throw-in by Basílio Sousa in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by FIFA2024's Benito Cordareo. The Destroyers F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FIFA2024's performance. The match ended with a win for FIFA2024.
