When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Mei Zhi Jian sped through Destroyers F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nono Contreras. 40 minutes into the match, Destroyers F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Mei Zhi Jian came free, but Nono Contreras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santiago Tancredo in the 56th minute of play forced Destroyers F.C.'s goalkeeper Nono Contreras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Destroyers F.C.'s Marcel Campidelis got a free kick in the 59th minute. If Alejo Berart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Destroyers F.C. defense, Mei Zhi Jian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nono Contreras. The Destroyers F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nono Contreras should have stopped the shot. 65 minutes into the match, Destroyers F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Giovani Sena came free, but Nono Contreras reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
