Destroyers F.C.'s Nono Contreras played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Long Liang Wei in the 16th minute of play. Long Liang Wei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nono Contreras took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Long Liang Wei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Long Liang Wei blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nono Contreras having to make a save. In the 26th minute Long Liang Wei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nono Contreras saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Acuña's Nono Contreras threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Long Liang Wei, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 29th minute, Acuña's Long Liang Wei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. 32 minutes into the game, Acuña's Long Liang Wei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Destroyers F.C.'s goalkeeper Nono Contreras, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 39 minutes had been played when some careless play by Destroyers F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guaberto Pacifico was slow to take the kick. During this time Acuña's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Bernardino Serapio managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Long Liang Wei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Nono Contreras tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, 乔珂光 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Acuña's supporters rose to their feet, but 乔珂光 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nono Contreras breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilson Rosa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 74th match minute, Acuña was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardino Serapio to maneuver through the defense.
