Ricardo Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wágner Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metod Mlynar in the 9th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nilton Lago in the 10th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Lago in the 12th minute of play. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ricardo Furtado in the 14th minute. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Nilton Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. Ricardo Furtado took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 25th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigmund Maliar to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute of the match Ruy Nóbrega shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Henrich Slany showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Metod Mlynar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Wágner Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Slovakia's Henrich Slany played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Lago in the 32nd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ricardo Furtado. In the 43rd minute Metod Mlynar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wágner Carneiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 56th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Suchy to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Os Fura Olho F.C.'s Ricardo Furtado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henrich Slany made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. The supporters of Os Fura Olho F.C. booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornel Jahoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 66th match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Suchy to maneuver through the defense. Metod Mlynar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Wágner Carneiro made a huge save. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Os Fura Olho F.C.'s goalkeeper Wágner Carneiro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Os Fura Olho F.C.'s Nilton Lago got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ricardo Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ricardo Furtado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute, Slovakia's Oliver Holub ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Wágner Carneiro. Wágner Carneiro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Ricardo Furtado struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Henrich Slany didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Os Fura Olho F.C.. After having played for 88 minutes, Oliver Holub managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slovakia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Oliver Holub was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee ended the match the Os Fura Olho F.C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
