The tension between the Ballygawley FC and the White Bats players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rowan Doyle made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 44th minute Karlo Solera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. White Bats's Roger Sánchez got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Costante Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rowan Doyle having to interfere. Declan McTommy fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 69th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball went over. It was a very nice shot. Rowan Doyle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karlo Solera, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the match, Maximiano Arribas notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Ballygawley FC's Rowan Doyle. In the 90th minute Costante Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Antonio Garay with Maximiano Arribas as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 96 minutes into the match, Maximiano Arribas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rowan Doyle. Ballygawley FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Maximiano Arribas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. White Bats's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
