In the 13th minute Bevin Morrison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kazimierz Grajewski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 14 minutes of play, TS Olimpia Poznan's Wasyl Dlugi made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rowan Doyle was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, TS Olimpia Poznan's Leonard Plucinik got a free kick in the 22nd minute. In the 27th minute, Bevin Morrison ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kazimierz Grajewski was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a rather tough play, Ballygawley FC's Brak Ghee got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Rowan Doyle was a little too slow when Leonard Plucinik got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 33rd minute. The score was now 2-1. Rowan Doyle made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wasyl Dlugi in the 37th minute. When Leonard Plucinik came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the TS Olimpia Poznan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Plucinik couldn't finish the play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Beagan Matthews during the 50th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 51st match minute, Ballygawley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Beagan Matthews to maneuver through the defense. Kryspin Watarz hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Bevin Morrison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bel Rogers charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bel Rogers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 54th match minute, Ballygawley FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bel Rogers to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Ballygawley FC got a freekick which was hit by Biddy McTommy. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wasyl Dlugi in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rowan Doyle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Dane Savic fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ballygawley FC's protests and gave Dane Savic a yellow card for diving instead. Dane Savic kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Kazimierz Grajewski came out of the goal in the 64th minute to try and stop a shot by Ballygawley FC's Bevin Morrison. But to his dismay, Bevin Morrison quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. 70 minutes into the match, Ballygawley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wasyl Dlugi came free, but Rowan Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rowan Doyle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonard Plucinik in the 71st minute of the match. Bevin Morrison struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Kazimierz Grajewski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ballygawley FC. Ballygawley FC's Bel Rogers got his second yellow card of the match in the 75th minute. The referee ordered Bel Rogers off the ground. Bel Rogers hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Rowan Doyle made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kryspin Watarz in the 80th minute of play. 81 minutes into the match, Ballygawley FC's goal looked a bit too open when Leonard Plucinik came free, but Rowan Doyle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 85 minutes, Kryspin Watarz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TS Olimpia Poznan and the Ballygawley FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Kryspin Watarz hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Beagan Matthews got his second yellow card in the match during the 87th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Ballygawley FC's Beagan Matthews got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 94th minute Wasyl Dlugi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rowan Doyle saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Ballygawley FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dane Savic hit a great ball. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
