Worst Arena Ever

Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Daniel Golob made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Golob came free, but John Elg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kryształ Targówek's Ziemowit Kornasiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yngve Dalberg in the 6th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Worst Team Ever's Robert Skark sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ziemowit Kornasiewicz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 14 played minutes Kryształ Targówek got a freekick which was hit by Jaroslaw Buda. Patryk Murdza made in the 16th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Worst Team Ever's Jan-Åke Högman. In the 18th minute, Milosz Niedziela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Kryształ Targówek fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 23 minutes into the game, Yngve Dalberg cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Ziemowit Kornasiewicz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 25 played minutes Worst Team Ever got a freekick which was hit by Petter Fernström. In the 26th match minute, Kryształ Targówek was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Golob to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Åke Högman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ziemowit Kornasiewicz came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by Worst Team Ever's Petter Fernström. But to his dismay, Petter Fernström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ziemowit Kornasiewicz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yngve Dalberg in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the game, Kryształ Targówek's Waclaw Hodas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Elg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. A collision led to Kryształ Targówek getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Waclaw Hodas hit a great ball. In the 41st minute Jan-Åke Högman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ziemowit Kornasiewicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 minutes of play, Worst Team Ever's Petter Fernström made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ziemowit Kornasiewicz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petter Fernström made a kick off. If Yngve Dalberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Yngve Dalberg scored 5-2 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ziemowit Kornasiewicz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jan-Åke Högman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ziemowit Kornasiewicz having to interfere. Kryształ Targówek's Daniel Golob suffered a concussion after 56 minutes and had to leave the field. After a rather tough play, Worst Team Ever's Per-Oskar Wallin got a free kick in the 57th minute. The supporters of Kryształ Targówek booed when Worst Team Ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Per Sjöö didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes in the game Radowit Kajfasz after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved John Elg. A very good opportunity. Yngve Dalberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jan-Åke Högman in the 67th minute of play forced Kryształ Targówek's goalkeeper Ziemowit Kornasiewicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ziemowit Kornasiewicz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Petter Fernström went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-2 was the resulting score. In the 70th minute, John Rudqvist hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Milosz Niedziela got free with John Elg in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. John Elg made an important save on a dangerous shot by Milosz Niedziela in the 75th minute. Petter Fernström received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Ziemowit Kornasiewicz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Yngve Dalberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Worst Team Ever fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-2. The throw-in from Antoni Zembrzuski in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Worst Team Ever's Jan-Åke Högman. Worst Team Ever's Jan-Åke Högman managed to work through Kryształ Targówek's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Jan-Åke Högman dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Jan-Åke Högman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Worst Team Ever's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
