In the 40th minute Olli Fiedler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ludomir Gleba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 42 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Olli Fiedler sped through AC Milan's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ludomir Gleba. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Olli Fiedler to make the kick off. After 55 played minutes AC Milan got a freekick which was hit by Fernando Ishmael. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olli Fiedler got free with Ludomir Gleba in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ludomir Gleba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Olli Fiedler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
