In the 7th match minute, The Engineers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Rockett to maneuver through the defense. In the 11th minute, Sergio Rengifo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Sporting Buceo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The Engineers's Kieran Floyd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yao Yan Sen in the 14th minute of play. Yao Yan Sen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Kieran Floyd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kieran Floyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Rengifo in the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goal looked a bit too open when Sergio Rengifo came free, but Kieran Floyd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavian Bastin kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Kieran Floyd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergio Rengifo in the 32nd minute of the match. Kieran Floyd had in the 46thth minute some difficulties stopping Juan Sartori's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 46th minute, Juan Sartori made a precise shot to the right of Kieran Floyd. The Engineers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Freddy Dove stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Rengifo. Segundo Aureo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Kieran Floyd made a huge save. If Sergio Rengifo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gutierrre Valseca was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Buceo's players had a chance to rest. An unexpectedly hard shot by Segundo Aureo in the 74th minute of play forced The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, The Engineers's goalkeeper Kieran Floyd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sergio Rengifo. Kieran Floyd made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Sergio Rengifo sent off a good shot on target. Sergio Rengifo kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 93rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot The Engineers's keeper Kieran Floyd was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With splendid footwork Sergio Rengifo arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-6 by the left pole in the game's 93rd minute. Sporting Buceo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
