In the 10th minute, Santos Guillelme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmiro Colaço in the 11th minute of play forced Quilmes's goalkeeper Adan Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in F.C.Bacha's zone, Ismael Dolcet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vicente Abrantes came out of the goal and Ismael Dolcet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vicente Abrantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacobo Lauro in the 17th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Jacobo Lauro made a precise shot to the right of Vicente Abrantes. Adan Lartaun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Palmiro Colaço in the 35th minute of play. Quilmes's Adan Lartaun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Palmiro Colaço in the 39th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Palmiro Colaço in the 42nd minute of play forced Quilmes's goalkeeper Adan Lartaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Jacobo Lauro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vicente Abrantes. That made the score 4-0 in the 46 minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacobo Lauro made a kick off. Vicente Abrantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Braulio Barrionuevo in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 58th minute Braulio Barrionuevo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicente Abrantes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
