An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacobo Lauro in the 8th minute of play forced Indios Latinos's goalkeeper Tomas Santikurtz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jacobo Lauro in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomas Santikurtz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Jacobo Lauro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Santikurtz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Quilmes's Dionisio Laurendi to fire away a dangerous shot which Tomas Santikurtz despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Quilmes's Adan Lartaun got control of the ball when Feliberto Cordairo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomas Santikurtz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Lauro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
