In the 8th match minute, Sentinel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joni Goeslaw to maneuver through the defense. 13 minutes into the game, one of Celta de Virgos:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Elberg Largan had in the 14thth minute some difficulties stopping Andre Pandelaki's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Elberg Largan came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Sentinel's Andre Pandelaki. But to his dismay, Andre Pandelaki quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erol Sunyoto in the 17th minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Elberg Largan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Sentinel's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Berbiz came free, but Kiki Bisri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Celta de Virgos's goal looked a bit too open when Harun Heryuwono came free, but Elberg Largan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th match minute, Celta de Virgos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Salvador Farias to maneuver through the defense. Angelo Berbiz hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Damaso Marcones charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Damaso Marcones the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Damaso Marcones kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joni Goeslaw in the 35th minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Elberg Largan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Elberg Largan came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Sentinel's Joni Goeslaw. But to his dismay, Joni Goeslaw quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. When Angelo Berbiz got free in front of the goal in the 48th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Kiki Bisri was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After the first half Sentinel were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Angelo Berbiz to strike the kick off in the second half. Harun Heryuwono could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Elberg Largan made a huge save. Angelo Berbiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Celta de Virgos's Angelo Berbiz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Elberg Largan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erol Sunyoto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Sentinel's Syahlan Fabanyo got a free kick in the 65th minute. Celta de Virgos's Angelo Enekoitz got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kiki Bisri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo Berbiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When Celta de Virgos's Angelo Berbiz in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sentinel's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Sentinel's zone, Angelo Berbiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kiki Bisri came out of the goal and Angelo Berbiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Angelo Berbiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Salvador Farias got a throw-in 95 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Rafael Virila. After 97 minutes of play, Celta de Virgos's Angelo Berbiz made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kiki Bisri was left in no man's land by his defense there! The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
