The supporters of Campeones del Mundo booed when Cable a Tierra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aquilino Guerrero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 14th minute, Gaston Lucila hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victoriano Eztebe in the 22nd minute of the match. Apolo Quilo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christian Cutberto in the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Campeones del Mundo's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Eztebe came free, but Daniel Igon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Roberto Lucila had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Victoriano Eztebe dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Daniel Igon, 1-0. 41 minutes into the game, Cable a Tierra's Eusebio Gorosti nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Daniel Igon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. In the 47th minute, Eusebio Gorosti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Daniel Igon was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

Daniel Igon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victoriano Eztebe in the 52nd minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Eleuterio Ekain notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Campeones del Mundo's Daniel Igon. Daniel Igon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Daniel Igon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eleuterio Ekain, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After a rather tough play, Campeones del Mundo's Pedro Kauldi got a free kick in the 65th minute. Cable a Tierra's Generoso Tavio was substituted for Roberto Lucila. In the 68th minute, Aquilino Guerrero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eleuterio Ekain struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Daniel Igon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cable a Tierra. Cable a Tierra's Aquilino Guerrero got his second yellow card of the match in the 73rd minute. The referee ordered Aquilino Guerrero off the ground. After a rather tough play, Cable a Tierra's Aquilino Guerrero got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 75th minute of the match Pedro Kauldi shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Apolo Quilo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 80th minute, Victoriano Eztebe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cable a Tierra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Victoriano Eztebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes Campeones del Mundo got a freekick which was hit by Bernardino Txilar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Victoriano Eztebe during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Daniel Igon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Ekain in the 90th minute of the match. In the 94th minute Christian Cutberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Victoriano Eztebe came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Cable a Tierra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victoriano Eztebe couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Cable a Tierra players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
