The DALO S.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Diego Mañon should have stopped the shot. In the 12th minute of the match, Damaso Marcones got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diego Mañon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 14 minutes into the match, DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Diego Mañon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Marcones. An unexpectedly hard shot by Angelo Berbiz in the 15th minute of play forced DALO S.C.'s goalkeeper Diego Mañon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th match minute, DALO S.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaias Valdaliso to maneuver through the defense. Elberg Largan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramos Pejuan in the 19th minute of the match. Diego Mañon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amancio Victoro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Mañon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Angelo Berbiz in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute Adrian Toribio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Mañon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 34 minutes of play, Celta de Virgos's Damaso Marcones made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Mañon was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 37 played minutes Celta de Virgos got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Enekoitz. Elberg Largan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lara Bornes in the 39th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Félix Nuño in the 40th minute of play forced Celta de Virgos's goalkeeper Elberg Largan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, DALO S.C.'s Diego Mañon got control of the ball when Adrian Toribio tried to sneak it across the goal line. Diego Mañon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adrian Toribio in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

With a little luck, Celta de Virgos's Elberg Largan got control of the ball when Daniel Salvadios tried to sneak it across the goal line.
