After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Eleuterio Ekain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cable a Tierra's supporters rose to their feet, but Eleuterio Ekain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Prudencio Estevon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Bautista scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Apolo Quilo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute Genaro Isias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Eleuterio Ekain came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Cable a Tierra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eleuterio Ekain couldn't finish the play. In the 27th minute, Pablo Lizzio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Genaro Isias in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Apolo Quilo saved Cable a Tierra from getting behind. In the 35th minute Miguel Bautista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Apolo Quilo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when A.A. Cachila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ignacio Abaurre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Oxarra kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Genaro Isias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Apolo Quilo was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Isias to make the kick off. A collision led to A.A. Cachila getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Ignacio Abaurre hit a great ball. In the 57th minute, A.A. Cachila's Miguel Bautista ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Apolo Quilo. Apolo Quilo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-2. Prudencio Estevon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusebio Gorosti, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Prudencio Estevon came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Cable a Tierra's Eusebio Gorosti. But to his dismay, Eusebio Gorosti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Cable a Tierra's Victoriano Eztebe got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cable a Tierra's Eleuterio Ekain got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cable a Tierra made a substitution. Generoso Tavio replaced Roberto Lucila. Cable a Tierra's Baltasar Gaitan was substituted for Pablo Lizzio. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eusebio Gorosti in the 72nd minute of play forced A.A. Cachila's goalkeeper Prudencio Estevon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Eusebio Gorosti in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Prudencio Estevon prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to A.A. Cachila getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Atilano Ekialde hit a great ball. A.A. Cachila made a substitution. Marcelino Bihar replaced Isaac Dabi. The supporters of Cable a Tierra booed when A.A. Cachila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Ekialde didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernan Lugo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The A.A. Cachila supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing A.A. Cachila would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
