In the 30th minute Filomeno Jon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kubat Tuğrul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fermin Basajaun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Monte Susanin in the 33rd minute of the match. After 34 played minutes The Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by 汪昆洋. Kubat Tuğrul made a fantastic save in the 36th minute, when Joaquin Inautzi sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of CeciForEver booed when The Old Boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steven Durin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The Old Boys made a substitution. Nicolas Segundo replaced Monte Susanin. The Old Boys's Florentino Dolfo was substituted for Isidro Gartzi. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Filomeno Jon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With 52 minutes on the clock, Paulo Larra commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 52nd minute, one of CeciForEver:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for CeciForEver. Fermin Basajaun had in the 54thth minute some difficulties stopping Paulino Sayvion's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Fermin Basajaun made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicolas Segundo in the 61st minute. After 62 minutes CeciForEver's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 汪昆洋 who took care of the corner kick. 杨宁卫 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Fermin Basajaun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, CeciForEver's Fermin Basajaun got control of the ball when Paulino Sayvion tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kubat Tuğrul took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiburcio Bastian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kubat Tuğrul made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Filomeno Jon in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 80th minute, Joaquin Inautzi managed to get in a good position for a shot. CeciForEver's supporters rose to their feet, but Joaquin Inautzi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kubat Tuğrul breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd match minute, The Old Boys was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Segundo to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Dolfo in the 84th minute of play forced CeciForEver's goalkeeper Fermin Basajaun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to The Old Boys getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Laurence Schautens hit a great ball. 93 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardino Playo came free, but Kubat Tuğrul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulino Sayvion received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fermin Basajaun came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulino Sayvion slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 98th minute. The Old Boys were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over CeciForEver's much stronger midfield.
