After a defensive mix-up in The Old Boys's zone, Arturo Ascencio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kubat Tuğrul came out of the goal and Arturo Ascencio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th minute, The Old Boys's Monte Susanin ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felix Txema. Felix Txema yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arturo Ascencio in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kubat Tuğrul saved The Old Boys from getting behind. 40 minutes into the match, The Old Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Pacifico came free, but Kubat Tuğrul reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The The Old Boys players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Black Sky FC were winning 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arturo Ascencio was the one to do the kick off.
