In the 5th match minute, Ñacuñán AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Clodio to maneuver through the defense. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Song Xiong Hong got a good chance for a goal in the 6th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to DIPLOMATA FC PAB getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Eliézer Alvarenga hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luis Bartoleme got free with Chico Donato in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 13th minute Ramón Furtado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raul Lipp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's attentive Rodrigo Cisterna managed to snatch the ball when Colin Probert made a throw-in in the 18th minute of the game. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save DIPLOMATA FC PAB from getting a goal against them. Chico Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Elpidio Ekain's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. 26 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Ramón Furtado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Lipp narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 28 minutes into the match, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Delmiro Oinaz. Raul Lipp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olivier Gilg in the 31st minute of play. After 32 minutes of play, DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Olivier Gilg made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raul Lipp was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 34th minute Delmiro Oinaz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Astor Guib in the 35th minute of play. Elpidio Ekain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Chico Donato made a huge save. Delmiro Oinaz took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chico Donato. Chico Donato dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1.

The wind increased when Elpidio Ekain made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Santos Cayo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chico Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliézer Alvarenga hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. In the 59th match minute, Ñacuñán AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Fero to maneuver through the defense. Ramón Furtado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Raul Lipp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's Chico Donato played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elpidio Ekain in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Cayo in the 76th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st minute, Santos Cayo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ñacuñán AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Chico Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Cayo in the 86th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Astor Guib in the 88th minute of play forced DIPLOMATA FC PAB's goalkeeper Chico Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Olivier Gilg notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Ñacuñán AC's Raul Lipp. Raul Lipp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 96 played minutes DIPLOMATA FC PAB got a freekick which was hit by José Augusto Lara. DIPLOMATA FC PAB's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
