The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Yalapa booed when Loco De Remate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roberto Mouzo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Okanalp Öksal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Okanalp Öksal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 7th minute Bruno Medero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Basri İhtiyar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Okanalp Öksal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Dolfo in the 9th minute of play. After 10 minutes Loco De Remate's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabian Rosalio who took care of the corner kick. 17 minutes into the match, Rene Aires had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Basri İhtiyar. Yalapa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rene Aires was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Fermin Dolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Okanalp Öksal having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, Loco De Remate's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Dolfo came free, but Okanalp Öksal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Yalapa's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Aires came free, but Basri İhtiyar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Yalapa's Fabian Rosalio got a free kick in the 75th minute. The audience was convinced that Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Okanalp Öksal was relentless in the 77th minute of the game.
