Papulote FC's Nereo Raymon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ambrosio Damario in the 11th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Papulote FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Rozarius. Julio Oidor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Damario in the 20th minute of play forced Papulote FC's goalkeeper Nereo Raymon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nereo Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Quilino in the 20th minute of the match. When Diego Leocadio came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Atlético Matorrales fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Leocadio couldn't finish the play. The Papulote FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nereo Raymon should have stopped the shot. Tadeo Quilino scored 0-2 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nereo Raymon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Severiano Ebardo struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Nereo Raymon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atlético Matorrales. Ambrosio Damario fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Raymon having to interfere. David Rodriguez kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Atlético Matorrales booed when Papulote FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Peli didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filiberto Eztebe charged in rather forcefully in the 44th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Filiberto Eztebe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The Papulote FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Atlético Matorrales were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnoldo Gonzo to strike the kick off in the second half. When Amadeo Jordy fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Papulote FC's protests and gave Amadeo Jordy a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Papulote FC's Amadeo Jordy got a free kick in the 51st minute. Severiano Ebardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nereo Raymon having to interfere. Ambrosio Damario sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The nice shot from Tadeo Quilino in the 67thth minute just in front of the goal should have ended in point on the board, but Nereo Raymon had a great feel for the game and superbly saved the ball from getting in by the left post. Nereo Raymon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severiano Ebardo in the 68th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Severiano Ebardo notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Papulote FC's Nereo Raymon. Nereo Raymon was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Diego Leocadio hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. When the match was over Atlético Matorrales could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Papulote FC throughout the match.
