Fermin Dolfo might have been able to make a better finish in the 19th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonardo Loco. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Dolfo ran back to his position shaking his head. Atlético Matorrales's Leonardo Loco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Matorrales from getting a goal against them. After 20 played minutes Atlético Matorrales got a freekick which was hit by Diego Leocadio. In the 21st minute, Rosendo Montel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fermin Dolfo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Loco having to make a save. Fermin Dolfo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Leonardo Loco made a huge save. In the 25th minute, Yalapa's Fermin Dolfo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leonardo Loco. The audience was convinced that Fermin Dolfo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Leonardo Loco was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. Leonardo Loco made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Fermin Dolfo sent off a good shot on target. Yalapa made a substitution. Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı blasted a shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Leonardo Loco having to make a save. In the 95th minute Atilla Bumin Hirfanlı shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonardo Loco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Yalapa players were eager to celebrate when the final whistle sounded. They had somehow managed to win, even though the away team had held the majority of the possession.
