Pedro Mercurio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benicio Beliran went, in the 3rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Pedro Mercurio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Beliran's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. After some careless play in the Ñacuñán AC defense, Benicio Beliran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pedro Mercurio. The Ñacuñán AC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pedro Mercurio should have stopped the shot. Benicio Beliran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pedro Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benicio Beliran, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Freddy Unai made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hector Fero in the 18th minute of play. Pedro Mercurio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benicio Beliran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match clock showed 24 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Benicio Beliran sped through Ñacuñán AC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Pedro Mercurio. Pedro Mercurio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benicio Beliran in the 27th minute of the match. Pedro Mercurio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Beliran in the 30th minute of play. Pedro Mercurio came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Bizcochito de Hur's Benicio Beliran. But to his dismay, Benicio Beliran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. 33 minutes into the match, CA Bizcochito de Hur's goalkeeper Freddy Unai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Otoniel. When CA Bizcochito de Hur's Benicio Beliran in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ñacuñán AC's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ñacuñán AC's Cristobal Ralondo was substituted for Delmiro Oinaz. 62 minutes into the match, CA Bizcochito de Hur's goal looked a bit too open when Benicio Otoniel came free, but Freddy Unai reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcelo Delgado struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Pedro Mercurio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Bizcochito de Hur. After 78 played minutes CA Bizcochito de Hur got a freekick which was hit by Silvestre Macerio. Silvestre Macerio hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Silvestre Macerio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 83rd minute Elpidio Ekain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Freddy Unai saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Mercurio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Pedro Mercurio was a little too slow when Silvestre Macerio got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 97th minute. The score was now 1-5. When the final whistle sounded CA Bizcochito de Hur left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ñacuñán AC.
