The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The supporters of DIPLOMATA FC PAB booed when Estación Q. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcos Acuña didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulinho Gonçalves in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Chico Donato saved DIPLOMATA FC PAB from getting behind. When Paulinho Gonçalves came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Estación Q. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Gonçalves couldn't finish the play. Estación Q. made a substitution. Flavio Chap replaced Ziya Özcakir. Marcos Acuña hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Ramón Furtado might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arif Nihat Yıldıray. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Lesardo in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Chico Donato prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A sloppy throw-in by Alan Franco in the 88th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Estación Q.'s Marcos Acuña. Chico Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Mincho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The DIPLOMATA FC PAB supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Estación Q.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Estación Q..
