The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Dervaux got free with Panos Papadimidis in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Panos Papadimidis made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. When the final whistle sounded Belgium left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Los Kollas.
