Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes into the match, Paulin Abecia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Paulin Abecia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 15thth minute of the game Frank Sachs who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Octavia's Oscar Frascuelo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 16th minute Germany were awarded a corner. Frank Sachs went to the cornerflag to take it. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Octavia's Txema Abadie. But to his dismay, Txema Abadie quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Paulin Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes in the game, Paulin Abecia fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Paulin Abecia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Tommy Kahn was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Octavia were awarded a corner in the 47th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Nesor Abadie took the corner. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paulin Abecia was the one to do the kick off. Nesor Abadie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Germany booed when Octavia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Papo Abalos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Chris Mergenthaler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Octavia's Alberto Abancens got a free kick in the 61st minute. Paulin Abecia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. Iordanis Anastasiadis scored 4-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Iordanis Anastasiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Octavia's supporters rose to their feet, but Iordanis Anastasiadis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alberto Abancens got a throw-in 74 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gaueko Abechuco. In the 75th minute Iordanis Anastasiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Octavia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 76th minute. In the 80th minute, Frank Sachs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 86 minutes, Iordanis Anastasiadis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Octavia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordanis Anastasiadis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 88th minute, Gaueko Abechuco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Txema Abadie in the 92nd minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Papo Abalos made in the 95th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Gaueko Abechuco however managed to control. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Octavia fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
