Zvezdan Nedeljkovic stood somewhat misplaced when Reynaldo Izotz came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Serbia's Zvezdan Nedeljkovic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luciano Phelipe in the 23rd minute of play. If Sreten Popovic had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the match, Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jeronimo Otsoko. Baldomiro Tximitx hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Jeronimo Otsoko received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jeronimo Otsoko in the 38th minute of play forced Serbia's goalkeeper Zvezdan Nedeljkovic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Reynaldo Izotz sent off a good shot on target. Astor Vincent scored 5-0 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Astor Vincent sent off a good shot on target. 47 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Izotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Izotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Reynaldo Izotz to make the kick off. Ambrosio Gonzales hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Serbia's goal looked a bit too open when Reynaldo Izotz came free, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A sloppy throw-in by Teo Eudoxio in the 60th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Serbia's Momir Gisic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luciano Phelipe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luciano Phelipe in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute Luciano Phelipe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miljan Gavrilovic kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Astor Vincent in the 70th minute of play. Luciano Phelipe succeeded in the game's 73rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 7-0. Luciano Phelipe took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Phelipe in the 81st minute of the match. Astor Vincent fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zvezdan Nedeljkovic having to interfere. Luciano Phelipe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeronimo Otsoko in the 86th minute of play. 87 minutes into the match, Luciano Phelipe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. In the 94th minute, Jeronimo Otsoko made a precise shot to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. C. A. Azucarera Argentina fully deserved thier win.
