Alexander Higgins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reynaldo Izotz's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Nemesio Osasun showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ashton Nelson in the 13th minute of the match. In the 16th minute, C. A. Azucarera Argentina's Reynaldo Izotz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. If Astor Vincent had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexander Higgins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luciano Phelipe in the 21st minute of the match. In the 22nd play minute Reynaldo Izotz came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Alexander Higgins. 3-0. Jeronimo Otsoko struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Alexander Higgins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C. A. Azucarera Argentina. Matias Ofelio kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Scotland booed when C. A. Azucarera Argentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Timoteo Abecia didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 30th minute of the match Zac O'Donnell shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nemesio Osasun showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 31st minute of the match Scotland got a corner. C. A. Azucarera Argentina's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Zac O'Donnell ran over to the corner to take the kick. Zac O'Donnell made a great header on Scotland's corner, it was just that C. A. Azucarera Argentina's Nemesio Osasun managed to reach the ball for a save. 33 minutes into the match, Reynaldo Izotz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alexander Higgins. Scotland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Reynaldo Izotz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Reynaldo Izotz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Alexander Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Izotz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 46thth minute tested the skills of Alexander Higgins when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Ambrosio Gonzales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Alexander Higgins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zac O'Donnell to make the kick off. Timoteo Abecia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexander Higgins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luciano Phelipe went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. In the 59th minute, Luciano Phelipe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The C. A. Azucarera Argentina fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. 66 minutes into the match, Scotland's goal looked a bit too open when Matias Ofelio came free, but Alexander Higgins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Scotland's Alexander Higgins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reynaldo Izotz in the 67th minute of play. When C. A. Azucarera Argentina's Reynaldo Izotz in the 68th minute got a chance for a shot 68th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 81st minute, Matias Ofelio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Matias Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Scotland defense, Baldomiro Tximitx kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexander Higgins. The Scotland fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexander Higgins should have stopped the shot. 88 minutes into the game, Luciano Phelipe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 11-0. Alexander Higgins was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, C. A. Azucarera Argentina's Timoteo Abecia got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 96th match minute, Scotland was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack MacKinnon to maneuver through the defense. In the 97th minute Baldomiro Tximitx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Higgins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
