Frank Sachs started the match with the kick off. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Wyatt Jeffers sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Sachs in the 8th minute of play forced Nacional Potosí's goalkeeper Jeremy Blomme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Tommy Kahn managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Nacional Potosí's Wyatt Jeffers fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Wyatt Jeffers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. In the 17th minute Wyatt Jeffers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lionel Beets in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tommy Kahn prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 25th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Mergenthaler to maneuver through the defense. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wyatt Jeffers in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Wyatt Jeffers kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 1-0 in the 28 minute of play. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Wyatt Jeffers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. Frank Sachs charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Frank Sachs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Through an outstanding action, after 41 minutes, Tommy Kahn successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Nacional Potosí's Wyatt Jeffers got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Wyatt Jeffers managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nacional Potosí's supporters rose to their feet, but Wyatt Jeffers was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Wyatt Jeffers made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Vinicio Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Mergenthaler kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Frank Sachs hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Frank Sachs sped through Nacional Potosí's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jeremy Blomme. Tomas Abello hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Germany defense, Tomas Abello kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Nacional Potosí walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
