Virgilio Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 27th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Jara in the 28th minute of play. Bertram Svenningsen took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Rojas. Virgilio Rojas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 33 minutes into the game, Camillo Consalvi threw the ball into play from the sideline. Denmark's Simon Bendtsen quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Virgilio Rojas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 36th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chris Nygaard was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Mathias Ludvigsen got a free kick in the 60th minute. Virgilio Rojas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chris Nygaard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 67 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Orozco came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 68th minute, Lars Steen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertram Svenningsen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Virgilio Rojas tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Gerardo Sanchez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bertram Svenningsen might have been able to make a better finish in the 78th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virgilio Rojas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Bertram Svenningsen ran back to his position shaking his head. Bertram Svenningsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Rojas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Eloi House charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eloi House the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Barcelona FC's Eloi House got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 87 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Antonio Orozco came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bertram Svenningsen struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Virgilio Rojas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denmark. In the 93rd minute, Antonio Orozco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Keld Paulsen was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1.
