José Maria Ramalho hit a great ball. 27 minutes into the game, Jumentus's Eliézer Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 32nd minute, Major Barna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Jumentus's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Adriano Penha made a huge save. In the 93rd minute, Szekeres Tamas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle sounded Hungary left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Jumentus.
