Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) MAFFIAN's Ragnar Törnkvist started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Faustin Payan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alex Vallin went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 9th match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wilfried Pinson to maneuver through the defense. Le Stade Briochin UC's Faustin Payan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ragnar Törnkvist in the 14th minute of play. Faustin Payan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Vallin in the 15th minute of the match. In the 17th minute Alex Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustin Payan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 17th match minute, Le Stade Briochin UC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Allan Meynet to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute of the match Börje Frisk shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Faustin Payan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Ragnar Törnkvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustin Payan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Le Stade Briochin UC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Allan Meynet hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Börje Frisk in the 28th minute of play forced Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Faustin Payan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faustin Payan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Vallin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Börje Frisk sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Ravat in the 35th minute of play forced MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Freddy Blond struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Aron Dahlbom didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Le Stade Briochin UC. 43 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goal looked a bit too open when Wilfried Pinson came free, but Aron Dahlbom reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 44th minute Le Stade Briochin UC were awarded a corner. Wilfried Pinson went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Le Stade Briochin UC's Wilfried Pinson to fire away a dangerous shot which Aron Dahlbom despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Alf Säfström managed to get in a good position for a shot. MAFFIAN's supporters rose to their feet, but Alf Säfström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Faustin Payan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After the first half MAFFIAN were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st minute Georges Ravat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 52nd minute Alex Vallin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustin Payan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Allan Meynet kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goalkeeper Faustin Payan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ragnar Törnkvist. Börje Frisk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ragnar Törnkvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Philip Hedin replaced Ragnar Törnkvist. George Svensson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Faustin Payan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Le Stade Briochin UC's Faustin Payan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Vallin in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Börje Frisk reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Faustin Payan. The goal made the score 0-2. Georges Ravat's late challenge caught a MAFFIAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Georges Ravat helped the player get up and apologised. After 68 played minutes Le Stade Briochin UC got a freekick which was hit by Georges Ravat. Philip Hedin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Faustin Payan firmly grabbed it by the left post. 73 minutes into the match, Le Stade Briochin UC's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Frisk came free, but Faustin Payan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Börje Frisk during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Börje Frisk kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Börje Frisk received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Faustin Payan came out and tried to block the shot, but Börje Frisk slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 83rd minute. Georges Ravat hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 88th minute, Freddy Blond hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Rabaud, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Le Stade Briochin UC's Georges Ravat got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If George Svensson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. MAFFIAN's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
