Niclas Hjälm started the match with the kick off. Isac Christoffersson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Wictor Hagström showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Russ Thorne, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. Wictor Hagström came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Cosmos Soccer Club's Russ Thorne. But to his dismay, Russ Thorne quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 8 minutes into the match, Niclas Hjälm dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Bruce Nesbitt, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Niclas Hjälm got free with Bruce Nesbitt in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Cosmos Soccer Club defense, Niclas Hjälm kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bruce Nesbitt. The Cosmos Soccer Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bruce Nesbitt should have stopped the shot. In the 21st minute Niclas Hjälm shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Nesbitt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bruce Nesbitt stood somewhat misplaced when Ingvar Asmundsson came free in front of goal and shot 4-1 to the left of him in the 21 minute. Bruce Nesbitt was a little too slow when Niclas Hjälm got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 5-1. The supporters of FC Kurdish Warriors booed when Cosmos Soccer Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Russ Thorne didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bruce Nesbitt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Niclas Hjälm in the 40th minute. A collision led to FC Kurdish Warriors getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Sven-Arne Gustafsson hit a great ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Cyrus Crouch made the kick off in the second half. Ingvar Asmundsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Bruce Nesbitt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 57 minutes into the match, FC Kurdish Warriors's goalkeeper Wictor Hagström had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cyrus Crouch. 60 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Alfred Eklund came free, but Bruce Nesbitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Söderström hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. In the 72nd match minute, Cosmos Soccer Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cyrus Crouch to maneuver through the defense. Wictor Hagström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyrus Crouch in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Cosmos Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Asmundsson came free, but Bruce Nesbitt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cosmos Soccer Club's Bruce Nesbitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niclas Hjälm in the 82nd minute of play. In the 88th minute, Niclas Hjälm ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bruce Nesbitt was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. After a rather tough play, FC Kurdish Warriors's Isac Christoffersson got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Isac Christoffersson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Kurdish Warriors had played much better football throughout.
