A collision led to Motala AIF getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ivo Förster hit a great ball. 7 minutes into the match, AKHisaR's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Förster came free, but Peker Baycan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 8 played minutes Motala AIF got a freekick which was hit by Christoph Kolp. Elvir Langer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ahmet Necdet Baştugay in the 12th minute of play. After 12 played minutes Motala AIF got a freekick which was hit by Nigg Caduff. In the 18th minute Ivo Förster shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peker Baycan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of AKHisaR booed when Motala AIF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Christoph Kolp didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elvir Langer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 45 minutes into the match, Motala AIF's goal looked a bit too open when Ahmet Necdet Baştugay came free, but Elvir Langer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ahmet Necdet Baştugay made the kick off in the second half. Peker Baycan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Christoph Kolp in the 55th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mustafa Emrah Ulusoy in the 58th minute of play forced Motala AIF's goalkeeper Elvir Langer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Motala AIF made a substitution. Gaston Guerreiro replaced Kevin Stoffel. After 61 played minutes AKHisaR got a freekick which was hit by Arslan Çubukcu. Elvir Langer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ahmet Necdet Baştugay took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elvir Langer. Elvir Langer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. 87 minutes into the game, Motala AIF's Gaston Guerreiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Peker Baycan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. A collision led to AKHisaR getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Anıl Baran Duran hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in AKHisaR's zone, Gaston Guerreiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Peker Baycan came out of the goal and Gaston Guerreiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AKHisaR's Peker Baycan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save AKHisaR from getting a goal against them. Motala AIF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
