Filinto Coelho might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aron Dahlbom. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filinto Coelho ran back to his position shaking his head. Filinto Coelho hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute Gonçalo Lobo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Dahlbom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Dahlbom took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomás Cerqueira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joel Maciel had in the 23rdth minute some difficulties stopping Östen Vennersten's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Ragnar Törnkvist's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 26thth minute, Joel Maciel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Philip Hedin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Joel Maciel. That made the score 1-0 in the 39 minute of play. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Philip Hedin was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Julião Valverde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. MAFFIAN's Börje Frisk couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Garanhão do SUL. In the 54th minute Kristoffer Nyberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Maciel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aron Dahlbom made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Tomás Cerqueira sent off a good shot on target. Tomás Cerqueira kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. The supporters of MAFFIAN booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Valadão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 minutes of play, MAFFIAN's Philip Hedin made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joel Maciel was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 65th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gaspar Valadão to maneuver through the defense. Joel Maciel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Säfström, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Alf Säfström left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MAFFIAN fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 74th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás Cerqueira to maneuver through the defense. Joel Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alf Säfström in the 75th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Östen Vennersten got a free kick in the 77th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Philip Hedin in the 81st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Maciel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Alf Säfström came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the MAFFIAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alf Säfström couldn't finish the play. Alf Säfström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joel Maciel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Philip Hedin's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. MAFFIAN walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
