Momentum FC's Felix Beat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Johannes Torstensson in the 3rd minute of play. 11 minutes into the match, Momentum FC's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Carlsson came free, but Felix Beat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Momentum FC booed when Linköpings AIK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olof Brolin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 13 minutes into the game, Momentum FC's Gaueko Nanclares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Staffan Lind made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Felix Beat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allan Karlsson went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Linköpings AIK's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Paulino Markel scored to the left of an out of position Staffan Lind, making the score, 2-1. The audience was convinced that Gaueko Nanclares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Staffan Lind was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Gaueko Nanclares ran back to his position shaking his head. Staffan Lind made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaueko Nanclares in the 35th minute of play. When Gaueko Nanclares came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Momentum FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaueko Nanclares couldn't finish the play. Staffan Lind made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 39th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Arvid Carlsson to make the kick off. In the 60thth minute of the game Gaueko Nanclares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gaueko Nanclares, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Gaueko Nanclares made a precise shot to the right of Staffan Lind. Linköpings AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 68 minutes into the game, Paulino Markel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Gaueko Nanclares blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Staffan Lind having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Linköpings AIK's Stefan Blomqvist got a free kick in the 81st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Joel Ermengol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Momentum FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Ermengol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
