Spams were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Degerfors IF's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Degerfors IF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Spams the free kick. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Åke Fors to make the kick off. Sebastian Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Spams walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
