Loco De la Maza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Modesto Iriarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. After 14 played minutes Momentum FC got a freekick which was hit by Eulalio Eder. In the 15th minute, Candido Abeliuk hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gaueko Nanclares received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Constantin Ionaș came out and tried to block the shot, but Gaueko Nanclares slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. In the 21st minute of the match, Gaueko Nanclares tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Constantin Ionaș saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. After a defensive mix-up in Cobresal's zone, Gaueko Nanclares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Constantin Ionaș came out of the goal and Gaueko Nanclares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Cobresal's goalkeeper Constantin Ionaș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gaueko Nanclares. Adriel Del Campo charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adriel Del Campo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adriel Del Campo kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Cobresal's Constantin Ionaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Gentza in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute of the match Momentum FC got a corner. Cobresal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gaueko Nanclares ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Eulalio Eder heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. In the 39th minute Juliano Armstrong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Momentum FC defense, Alifonso Apablaza kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Loco De la Maza. The Momentum FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Loco De la Maza should have stopped the shot.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gaueko Nanclares made a kick off. In the 54th minute Alifonso Apablaza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Loco De la Maza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loco De la Maza made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Julio Dudagoitia in the 58th minute. After 69 played minutes Cobresal got a freekick which was hit by Candido Abeliuk. A hard shot by Juliano Armstrong from long distance, 73 minutes into the match, got Loco De la Maza's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. 75 minutes into the game, Delmiro Avellaneda was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Momentum FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cobresal the free kick. In the 79th minute Gaueko Nanclares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Constantin Ionaș saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Momentum FC's Loco De la Maza got control of the ball when José Julio Dudagoitia tried to sneak it across the goal line. Loco De la Maza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alifonso Apablaza in the 85th minute of play. Cobresal's Constantin Ionaș played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaueko Nanclares in the 86th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Cobresal's Rainerio Barrientos got a free kick in the 90th minute. In the 91st match minute, Cobresal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rainerio Barrientos to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Adriel Del Campo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Cobresal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
