Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Arvid Carlsson took the kick off in the first half of the match. Staffan Lind showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Åke Fors took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Staffan Lind. Staffan Lind dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 7 minutes into the match, Billy Pihlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Staffan Lind. Linköpings AIK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Billy Pihlberg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. 13 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Carlsson came free, but Sebastian Sandberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sebastian Sandberg made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Allan Karlsson sent off a good shot on target. Sebastian Sandberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Johannes Torstensson in the 22nd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Linköpings AIK's goal looked a bit too open when Åke Fors came free, but Staffan Lind reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Degerfors IF's goalkeeper Sebastian Sandberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Åke Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Åke Fors in the 36th minute of play. Åke Fors fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Lind having to interfere. Arvid Carlsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Sebastian Sandberg made a huge save. Åke Fors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Degerfors IF were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Åke Fors made a kick off. Åke Fors received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Staffan Lind tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute, Åke Fors fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Staffan Lind, passed just outside the right post. In the 62nd match minute, Linköpings AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Greger Jonasson to maneuver through the defense. Staffan Lind was a little too slow when Åke Fors got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 0-3. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 82 in the game by Åke Fors from a close distance when the talented Staffan Lind managed to make a qualified save. Linköpings AIK's players were relieved. After 86 played minutes Degerfors IF got a freekick which was hit by 余誉德. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Åke Fors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
