Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Miguel Gilabert started the match with the kick off. Eske Aksel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fredrik Isak in the 5th minute of the match. After some careless play in the La Zabaleta defense, Christian Håkansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eske Aksel. The La Zabaleta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eske Aksel should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Åke Fors in the 9th minute of play forced La Zabaleta's goalkeeper Eske Aksel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 10 minutes into the match, Christian Håkansson notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of La Zabaleta's Eske Aksel. Eske Aksel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 17 minutes into the match, Degerfors IF's Åke Fors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eske Aksel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Romulo Hibai fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La Zabaleta's protests and gave Romulo Hibai a yellow card for diving instead. Romulo Hibai hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. When Degerfors IF's Åke Fors in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Zabaleta's goalie prevented a goal. Eske Aksel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Fors in the 36th minute of play. After 38th play minutes Åke Fors shot 0-3, a short shot which went by Eske Aksel and just under the crossbar into goal. If Åke Fors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After the first half Degerfors IF were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Åke Fors to strike the kick off in the second half. Eske Aksel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Åke Fors in the 51st minute of play. Olov Ivarsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eske Aksel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Olov Ivarsson ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Degerfors IF booed when La Zabaleta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaspar Lastur didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 58 played minutes La Zabaleta got a freekick which was hit by Gaspar Lastur. The crowd rose to their feet as Degerfors IF's Åke Fors slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Eske Aksel. That made the score 0-4 after 62 minutes of play. Eske Aksel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Åke Fors, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Eske Aksel made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Åke Fors sent off a good shot on target. Åke Fors struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Eske Aksel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Degerfors IF. A hard shot 84 in the game by Anthon Eliasson from a close distance when the talented Eske Aksel managed to make a qualified save. La Zabaleta's players were relieved. A collision led to La Zabaleta getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Romulo Hibai hit a great ball. Eske Aksel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anthon Eliasson in the 89th minute. 90 minutes into the match, Anthon Eliasson dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eske Aksel, 0-5. Degerfors IF played a much better game than La Zabaleta and deserved their victory. The La Zabaleta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
