The Formentera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Aragones should have stopped the shot. Blas Estevez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jim Hellström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. Astor Aragones took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Formentera booed when Preator Edikt was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jiang didn't get a good kick on the ball. Preator Edikt's Jim Hellström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Preator Edikt from getting a goal against them. Carlos Fernández kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Astor Aragones showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Michael Stor, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. 27 minutes into the game, Preator Edikt's Torbjörn Nilsson nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Astor Aragones made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Torbjörn Nilsson put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Astor Aragones. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Preator Edikt reached it. Wilfredo Benvide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jim Hellström having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The wind increased when Torbjörn Nilsson made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Preator Edikt's Michael Stor sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Astor Aragones narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jim Hellström, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Blas Estevez in the 61st minute of play forced Preator Edikt's goalkeeper Jim Hellström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Blas Estevez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Formentera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Blas Estevez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Stor in the 85th minute of play forced Formentera's goalkeeper Astor Aragones to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute, Blas Estevez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jim Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Blas Estevez in the 88th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Formentera got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Libertad. Fellipe Vianna kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Preator Edikt's Jim Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Blas Estevez in the 94th minute of play. After some careless play in the Preator Edikt defense, Blas Estevez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jim Hellström. The Preator Edikt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jim Hellström should have stopped the shot. When the final whistle sounded Preator Edikt left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Formentera.
